A man was enjoying a nice walk one afternoon, until it decided to rain. Already starting to get wet, he found the nearest building to get himself out of the rain: a library. A place where he could avoid the rain for a bit and look at some good books. It had been a while since he visited one of these, so he might as well take the opportunity. The man walked inside and looked over himself, sighing as he was practically soaked. Hopefully, he would dry off quickly inside. He walked through the shelves of books, looking for something that piqued his interest. That was until he happened upon a strange door. There was no sign that said anything about being restricted or employees only, so he went on in. The room was barely lit and there were no books in here at all, save for one. Holu and Lani would spend a good chunk of their time together. Each morning was devoted to the sunrise walks that had started their day, and each evening was devoted to the sunset and stargazing they had grown to enjoy. Hours turned into days. Days into weeks. Weeks into months. Plenty of time for a woman and a man to decide if the feelings in their hearts were true or not, and plenty of time for a genie girl to get better at magic and dancing. Somewhere in the world existed an ornate purple bottle which housed a genie girl by the name of Laniakea. She was a kind genie in-training, who decorated her clothes and hair with a cosmic theme. At this particular moment, Laniakea was sleeping in her bottle, tossing and turning. She was engulfed in a nightmare that she could not escape from. She yelled the name “Holu…” as she woke abruptly, gasping and almost in tears. Holu was the name of her first master, someone that she had grown close to and fell in love with. Unfortunately, something happened to him, causing the two to no longer be together. Laniakea really missed him and anytime she fell asleep, she would think of him. She was not alone in the bottle, as her genie trainer, Sunny, resided in the bottle with her. Sunny, like Laniakea, was also kind, and a chipper genie girl as well. As Laniakea yelled and gasped, Sunny slowly woke up to comfort her. “You’re having the nightmare again, Lani?” Lani just looked at her, nodding.
