When Ghaada was sucked inside the lamp, she was knocked out cold. She awoke sometime after the thieves took off and murdered the sultan. She looked around. Dark. All she could see was pitch black, except for one spot. "H-h-hello? Is anyone there?" She asked. Nothing. She said it again. Silence was her answer. She stood up and sighed. "Where am I? The last thing I remember was being held down by the sultan's guards…And then he rubbed an oil lamp…a mist came out…and then—" She gasped. She realized where she was now. "The lamp? I-I-I'm inside an oil lamp? No…no I must be dreaming," she thought. So, she pinched herself, and, unfortunately, she felt it. This was no dream.
Ghaada became nervous, and began to cry. "I don't want to be stuck here in a lamp…I want to be with my friends in the harem! Not in this dark alone…" She continued to cry. "I wish it wasn't so dark in here!" Then, a flame appeared out of nowhere, and the place lit up. She took one look and saw how cramped it was. It was barely enough room for her to lay down in it. "This lamp is so cramped…I wish I was a bit smaller…" Then, it happened again. She shrunk, just a tad, and was able to lay down comfortably…well comfortably on a hard, metal surface. "Well…it worked the other two times…I wish I had some comfy pillows…?" A few pillows fell from the ceiling, and she squirmed her way to the top of them. "So…the lamp grants me wishes? Unusual…" However, it was not the lamp. It was the magical power she now possessed as a genie. In a vessel, a genie can use their powers without any wishes. True, she had used the phrase "I wish…", but she could just conjure up anything, if she thought of what she wanted in her mind.
"So, if the lamp DOES grant me wishes…then…I wish I was out of the lamp!" Ghaada closed her eyes, and waited. A sense of excitement came over her as she thought she would soon be outside, and be reunited with her friends. However, when she opened them, she was still in the lamp. "Wha--? Hmmm…I wish I was out of the lamp?" Nothing happened. "Why didn't it work? I WISH I WAS OUT OF THE LAMP!!!" Once again, she did not receive her wish. "Maybe…try wishing for something smaller…I wish for a jar of water…" Just then, a jar of water appeared. She looked at it, and inspected it. Sure enough, it was a jar filled with water. "Ok…ok that worked…let's try something else…"
Ghaada started to wish for different things, like clothes, jewelry, animals, and food. But when she tried to wish herself out of the lamp, once again, nothing happened. "I guess I can wish for almost anything, but I can't wish myself out of the lamp…the lamp must want me as its prisoner. " Then, she had an idea. "Does the lamp want to be my master? Is that why it's not letting me go?" However, the lamp did not respond. As much as it was a "magic lamp" it did not have the capabilities. When the lamp greeted her with silence, she started growing frustrated. "Master…I want to know why you are keeping me as a prisoner." Silence. She grew even madder. "Master! I want to know!" Nothing. "Grrrr…I wish you would speak to me, master!!!" Then she heard a laugh. "Who just laughed?" She asked.
"My sweet dear, I did." Replied the voice.
"Who—Who are you?"
"The lamp…"
"The lamp…? You mean, master? You can talk!"
"Ho ho ho…You have conjured up the ability to make me speak, my dear. So…yes…I can talk…" The lamp said.
"Master…this…I am so happy!" Ghaada hugged the side of the lamp.
"Please, my dear…do not grant me the title of master…I am just a mere object…"
"But…but…I thought that's why you are keeping me prisoner?" She asked.
The lamp chuckled. "No…that is not the reason, dear…"
"Then…then why?"
"Easy my child…I will tell you…just sit down…relax…and listen. I will answer all your questions…" So, Ghaada pulled up one of her pillows, and sat on it. Then, she listened as the lamp answered her questions.

Magic Lamp -5- Wishes and Curses
While Genie's were not well known for making choices on their own, Genie made hers, and decided to allow Olivia her rest for now. Hard enough to explain to her that she shared a body with a twenty-something, let alone that she was also a Genie's Master. Besides, better was the Master you knew than the Master you did not.
"Yes, of course, Master, you still have three wishes you may use. But, I must add one caveat, no wish you make can bring harm to Olivia, mental or physical."
"Now why the hell is that?"
"Because you and she share a body, she as well as you are my Master, and my wishes can not bring harm to my Master."
"First, your wishes? You
